E-tickets & events
Create an event, share a registration link, issue e-tickets and check guests in by QR at the door.
E-Ticket Event ✅ Before you start
- Event details: name, time, venue, expected number of guests.
- Your guest list, or a channel to share the registration link.
- A device with a camera to scan tickets at the door.
🧭 Step by step
🚪 Create the check-in gate
User Manager › QR Manager
First create a QR gate for the venue. This is where guests are scanned as they arrive.
✉️ Write the email template
E-Ticket Event › Email Template
Open "Email Template" and write what registrants receive, with their e-ticket attached.
You can keep several templates for different kinds of event and edit them at any time.
👥 Build attendee groups
E-Ticket Event › Attendee Manager
Open "Attendee Manager" to create groups and add the people attending.
Grouping makes invitations and reporting per audience straightforward.
🎪 Create the event
E-Ticket Event › E-Ticket Event
Open "E-Ticket Event". The page has a "Name Event" field, a "Select Event Type" selector (defaults to "Skip Verification"), an attendee-group selector and a "List Gates" grid.
Enter the name, choose the type and group, then tick the gate you created in step 1 in "List Gates" and press "Create Event".
Leaving the event name empty is blocked with an error, so fill it in before pressing create.
- Creating an event also raises a notification in the system, so you have confirmation it was recorded.
📨 Share the registration link
Send the link by email, social media or from your website. Registrants receive an e-ticket using the template you wrote.
📱 Check guests in
E-Ticket Event › E-Ticket Check-in
At the door, scan the QR on each guest’s ticket. Open "E-Ticket Check-in" to watch arrivals in real time.
That screen tells you immediately how many people are in and who has not arrived.
🪑 Manage bookings
E-Ticket Event › Booking Manager
For seated events, use "Booking Manager" to track and coordinate places.
🎟️ What the attendee sees
User portal › E-Ticket
Attendees never create anything. They sign in to the user portal, click "E-Ticket", and find a read-only list with one row per event they have been invited to, showing "Company Name", "E-Ticket Name" and the event "From Date" and "To Date".
A row appears only after you add that person as an attendee in the company portal and their group is linked to an event. Nothing is sent for them to click — the ticket is simply there the next time they look, or after they press the reload icon.
To attend, they press "Check-In" on the row. That opens the event check-in page in a new tab with their e-mail already filled in, where they press "Check In" to record arrival and "Check Out" when they leave.
- The ticket is not consumed by checking in — the row stays in the list afterwards, so the same person can check out later or attend a multi-day event.
- A ticket disappears on its own once the event end date has passed. Nothing has to be cleaned up.
- Only the end date controls whether a ticket is listed. An event that has not started yet is still shown and its "Check-In" button is still clickable — the refusal happens on the check-in page, not in the list.
- When a ticket vanishes because the event ended, no message explains it. If somebody says their ticket "disappeared", check the event end date first.
❓ Frequently asked questions
1 How do guests receive their ticket?
By email, using the template you wrote in "Email Template". The ticket carries a QR code scanned at the door.
2 Does an event need its own QR gate?
Yes. Create it in "QR Manager" before creating the event, then tick it in the "List Gates" grid.
3 Where do I watch arrivals?
In "E-Ticket Check-in", which shows check-ins in real time.
4 Can I edit an event after creating it?
Yes, reopen it in "E-Ticket Event" to update the details.
5 How is this different from Visitor Manager?
E-tickets are for events with prior registration and issued tickets. Visitor Manager is for people arriving at your premises day to day, including walk-ins who never registered.
